And trust me, the book us awesome!^^ and easy to understand. But it helps if u have good memory^_^
It's for conversational thingy, not reading/writing tho. Just what i need as i am a dummy. Hehs.
So, let's see how far i can go with this book ya? As for tonight, i'm trying to understand the diff between 'formal polite' speech, 'informal polite' speech, 'intimate' speech and 'plain' speech!^_^

I received my Guitar for Dummies today and expecting for my Korean for Dummies in a couple of days.
One thing i won't deny about MPHonline is that their capabilities in PR. I was mad and didn't sound much professional in my last email, but their reply is still in modest and professional way. And so far, on week days, they respond to email within a day. Thumbs up.
As for the packaging of d book which i actually forgot to take pix of, it's..actually making me very happy. They wrapped d book with extra care. There's a layer of plastic n then some spongy thingy covering it.
Well, i won't say no to shopping via mphonline again, and i would still suggest my family and friends to shop there but...i'd advise them to read properly and don't put up their expectation too high at first as we don't we wether luck is on our side or not.

Don't be blinded by the cheaper deals they offer u. This is where "you get what u've paid for" tag comes in.
On the 11th Jan, i bought two books. Korean for Dummies and Guitar for Dummies (when im supposed to buy Shopping Online @mph for Dummies instead). I paid for the full amount of fees. And yes, i was so happy that i got the books at 25% discounts! "It's so cheap!" i told my friends.
On the site, it said, the books will be sen out within three working days, so i was surprised when i checked and found out my book hasn't been sent yet after three working days. I emailed the customer service. I was then informed that Korean for Dummies is out of stock n will only be available in a few weeks. I was also informed that Guitar for Dummies will be shipped to me as planned and i was given choices; to proceed with the order for Korean for Dummies and wait or to cancel. So, i asked, "will there be extra charges?" and the reply came in, "no extra charges."
But to this day, (21/01/11) no sign of the book, Guitar for Dummies. How long is actually three working days in MPHonline's term? So i checked the website and i found out that d details of my order are gone. Yes, GONE!



I was supershocked so i email them again. I asked about the Guitar for Dummies too. You see, the postage fare was rm22-24(cant remember)..it's so not reasonable if they are using lame old school stamp post, right? If using express post, why hasn't it reach me yet? Ten days passed by, with nothing!
N u know what? Mph online said i've to pay extra postal charge IF i want my guitar for dummies post out to me first! Wth? Luckily i'm that kind of person who doesn't delete my emails! I was pissed off so i sent them a screen shot of their email to me regarding "no extra charge" n such. Only then i received another reply, saying it'll b posted out(via Pos Laju) without any extra cost, n it'll reach me within 4working days. Duuh! 3working days in their term equals 10days, so can you guys help me to count 4working days in their term? Thankyu!
I've been buying so many things online, and this; is my worst experience! Well, at least they reply emails in formal manner, unlike stupid Kuching branch of Skynet (another long story).
So, guys, be careful. Yes, it's cheap. And i'm sure they won't scam ur money away, but be extra careful. Keep all the details of your purchase. Don't expect anything high. Their service fails me, they might fail u too.

How many times have you met a really sweet cute guy and thought, “omg! He’d be a great catch, but he’d nvr go for me,”?
Well, if u r anythg like me, then the answer shud be zillion times.
My fwens say, “u shudnt feel that way! U r the magnum of the ice cream world, u r the rolex of the watch shop n u r the supreme pizza plus garlic bread!”
Well...im just lack of confidence. Esp when it comes to men.i always think im not up to his league.
How to be confidence? Wear stilettos that could double up as pogo sticks, expose ur flesh, swivels ur hips when u walks, tosses ur hair when u laugh? Or shud I just start to read n read n read till there’s zero on earth I don’t have any idea on?
I don’t know. People say, just be urself. People say, do it ur own way. People say, don’t let them turn u down.
